If my mucus plug comes out do I go to hostpital?

But I'm already seeing mucus and the doctor told me if my water breaks or I have contractions 2 to 3 mins apart go to hospital. My doc said he was gone let me deliver Monday but I'm not even gonna make it .. I might not make it timmar

Mine always released a month or so before my due dates with my 1st and 3rd son I never went to the doctor bc I was educated by doctors ahead of time. I did however still call to let them know. My 2nd sonI did not lose my mucus plug due to hhaving him early. I was told not be worried about it releasing unless there was blood involved witch there was not.

It is a build up of mucus in your cervix that helps keep bacteria and infection out of your uterus.

No, they'll send you back. Mucus plug is not necessarily a sign of labor. You go if your water breaks (even then I suggest waiting) or when your contractions are 5 min apart or less.

I am 38 weeks my doctor told me he was gone deliver me Monday and I started seeing mucus this morning

How far along are you?? If its very early in your pregnancy you should go. If you are approaching your due date soon then wait for the labour to start or they will just send you back home.
