really odd situation...period 55 days late..

Okay so I just had my daughter in April  and she's healthy but right before I got on birth control I had sex with her dad and then the next day I got on birth control the nexplanon... and then I had a period for 2 weeks and now I haven't had one in way over a month.... I took a test it said negative..dollar store test... that was about a month ago cause I was like 3 weeks late then.. any advice as to why my period would be so late but no pregnancy?
I am on a very good birth control so idk..

Hmm well I'm glad to hear I'm not pregnant again.  It's a  great feeling but one is enough for now..plus I'm still young and already doing this on my own mostly.
I was just worried cause I had never been so late and I didn't think anything of it cause my period lasted 2 and a half weeks..

Nexplanon can stop periods for up to a year or cause them to be really irregular, its one of the side effects! I'm getting it once my boy comes and was told that's what can happen..

I cant speak from experience, but I know there are birth controls out there that can prevent you from having your period regularly. You could go months without one. Ive had friends on birth control that this has happened to. I dont think its anything to worry about, but if you are that worried, ask your doctor next time you go in to see whats up.
