spring valley folic acid 800mcg safe?
I know I need folic acid, is this brand safe and am I taking a good amount?
I'm on a tablet called ferro-f-tab.
I take one everyday, it has folic acid and iron

I took it @ the beginning in trimester #1 but I never asked if that particular brand was safe ..but I did tell my doctor that i was taking over the counter prenatal & folic & he told me I needed to be prescribed those both bc there is not enough folic acid in the over the counter that thebaby needs for spine/nervous system! I believe he said I needed to have 1 Milligram per day & my bottle was Mcg's.... I would ask your doc.for top of the line advice! This is just what my ob said..
