stretch mark home remedies?!?

Hey girls.
My last pregnancy was 7 years ago and I didn't do anything to prevent stretchmarks and I got a lot. They're now faded and aren't so ugly looking.

I want to avoid this issue this time around with moisturizing. I was wondering if organic coconut oil and shea butter will work or if I should go buy one of those expensive products. I just Want to be preventive I know that moisturizing is key and the tummy does a lot of stretching.  I want to start early on my pregnancy and want honest answers instead of just companies tricking us with fake five star reviews on their products.

Thanks in advance mommies ♡

Thanks so much everyone!
I've read a lot of places that if you're prone to them they're unavoidable but I still don't want to sit back and do nothing. I want to at least try to prevent even a little bit. You never know until you try.
Thanks for the comments girls. I will definitely look into all your suggestions.
@hollyjh my husband loves that idea haha. That is definitely treatment you gotta work for hahaha.

I don't get stretch marks, but I've read that there's nothing one can do to prevent them, if you're prone to them, but you can make them better w cocoa butter once you have them. Also, the good news is stretch marks always fade over time.

I'm currently using Palmers Cocoa Butter and I take Evening Primrose Oil because omega 6 helps with the stretch marks also try eating sunflower seeds! Creams and lotions don't work as well, it's better to get the nutrients from what you eat!

I know this may sound disgusting but my friend who's in her 40's swears that mens semen is really good for stretchmarks. When her daughter was pregnant she told her daughter to do it and she hardly had any. Sounds disgusting and mad but I'm gonna try it :)

Sweet, I'm thinking coconut oil would be a good all natural way to keep ur skin moisturized. Very cool bio oil replacement.  I might just use that and shea butter and vitamin e and an expensive product as well and hope that the more I use the less likely the stretch marks cuz I'll stay hydrated and moisturized.. well see!

This is my second pregnancy and I can honestly say I tried a lot of products the last time. Cocoa butter, lotion every day and didn't really get marks until the end and labor. I think stretch marks are inevitable. I've tried vitamin E oil to help the marks fade since my first was born and haven't seen much of a change.
Good luck and if you find something that works share please! :)
