strict bed rest at hospital

My water broke at 26 weeks and I'm now 27+1. Everything had been going good so far. How long were you on bed rest and what were your symptoms before you actually had your lo. I want out of here so bad cause I have another girl but I know it's what's healthy for baby. I just wish I could be on bed rest at home:(

I'm trying to take it day by day. I know my daughter is in good hands,I just don't want her to feel like I'm neglecting her. I feel so useless being in here. It Justus makes me feel terrible that I will most like miss her trick or treating and thanksgiving thus year. I see myself getti g really jealous of the pregnant women on my Facebook cause they don't know how good they have it to be able to enjoy pregnancy and be with family. Hubby is going to bring by some magazines and a notebook so I can do somethi g besides be on my phone lol.

I pray that all goes well for you and your little one!! 7 years ago this December I was pregnant with twin and twin A membrane broke and I was put on strict bed rest in the hospital.  I was so unhappy but it was the best decision ever, I ended up not giving birth until 32 weeks. Granted our son is epileptic due to oxygen lost but otherwise doing very well and our daughter has no medicaln issues what so ever. Although I did not want to be in there I wouldn't change any of it because I have two wonderfully made kids that is full of joy and life.. Hang in there!! Let's get that sugar plum cooking just a little longer. ..

Oh wow, sending you lots of positive thoughts! My friends water broke at 25wks but she went into labour straight away so they had to deliver. Her baby would have been 40wks this week and has just graduated from nicu to special care nursery. I went into preterm labour at 27wks but my waters didn't break and they were able to stop it. I woke up feeling off with occassional menstrual cramps, then intestinal cramps I felt I couldn't get off the toilet for 1.5hrs then I lost my mucus plug and started having regular mild contractions within 20mins. They stopped it 3 times over 2wks and have been at home on bedrest since. Sure makes for a long pregnancy! I have a toddler too :( Wishing you lots of luck!
