swollen ankles?

I'm currently 15w and Saturday evening, my boyfriend and I went to an outdoor wedding. While we were waiting for the services to begin, I glanced down and noticed that both of my ankles had swollen to the size of softballs. I figured that it's nothing to be concerned over, I started propping them up when I noticed they were getting puffy yesterday, but I was still wondering if swollen feet were common this early in pregnancy or if I should be concerned? Thanks!

I work on my feet all day my ankles and feet have been swollen for months . Prop them up and drink lots of water and lower your sodium intake. But I would tell your ob so he or she can keep an eye on it swelling can be a sign of preeclampsia

I work a housekeeping job. I haven't been to a doctor yet but to a hospital and I recently found out that I am 9 weeks pregnant and that I have hypermesis gravidarum. Every one around me keeps telling me to get over it and every pregnant woman has been there. But it's hard to sleep and work when I keep dry heaving. What should I do? I'm sick I'm not trying to act helpless

Drinking lots of water consistently also helped me (along with propping feet up). At first I was still swollen for a bit, but once I was consistent, they went down.

Ouch!  It's normal though.  Just try getting some movements on your ankles. Of you sit or lay for constant period of times. Mine swell here and there and I soak my feet is some Epson salts!
