My doctor wants me drinking 64oz of water a day, along with milk and juice too. I don't have diabetes so it may be more for you. Drinking plenty of water helps with stretch marks as well.

Every Dr has a different way of handling gd/diabetes, but all agree on portion control. Depending on where ur at, u could ask Dr to meet with a nutritionist to help u understand and set specific goals for you. Or if u are on or have access to wic they can help too. For me my goals are fasting level between 70-90, and 2hours after a meal 90-110. I am also on medication to help control mine now, however I wasn't when I had gd. l don't mind answering any ? U have , if I can.

I am 16 weeks and I don't think I've felt my baby move. Everyone keeps asking me if I have and making it seem like it's uncommon not to have felt anything yet. Is that true? Should I be worried?

Ive had gestational diabetes, but 10yrs later am a type 2 diabetic.  Control both with drinking extra water, portion control, extremely limiting carbs, n exercise. I still drink soda, eat candy.. Just not a lot and always followed by water.  When I eat bread its 1slice, 1/2 roll, etc.. Potatoes 1/4cup to 1/2 cup with protein (chicken, steak) 4-6oz per meal. They say eat every few hours, my schedule makes that difficult. Walking after meals is helpful too. I'd see how much sugar is in the drink pouches. They'd be ok every now n then but probably not all the time.

4-5 bottles of water is not going to harm u. I drink at least 6 20oz bottles per day and my Dr want me to drink even more. I'm diabetic and if I drink juice/soda or eat sweets I have an extra bottle of water. Keeping well hydrated helps keep sugar levels good.

Well it can be dangerous, Although rare, people can have serious side effects and death due to consuming too much water. How much are you drinking daily?
