I have a midwife and won't have an anatomy ultrasound until 22 weeks. But baby boy's heartrate is perfect, and I'm measuring right on schedule. Hubby and I did want to know the gender,  so we paid $90USD for a private ultrasound.

I wouldn't be concerned about the lack of an ultrasound as long as you're healthy otherwise, but I would be concerned that they keep pushing your apt back. Don't feel like you should go to an er, but definitely get a new dr.

Find a new doctor asap. I'm 13 weeks I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and and again at 11 weeks. I also heard the heart at 11 weeks. By know you should of had at least one done it is not on that they keep you waiting

I went to a college where students are practicing to become ultrasound techs. I called made an appointment and it was free not a penny. They let me hear the heart beat and the student who was practicing on me even told me the gender. Maybe if you Google it you may find some colleges in your area that are doing it.
