Can you have a water birth if your having twins?
I'm an L&D nurse and at our hospital, twins are delivered in the OR just in case it turns into an emergent c-section.
Talk to a midwife.
I know at the hospitals in my area if you have twins they have to be delivered in a OR. This I because sometimes the second baby does not come in head down after the first babies comes out. They need to be in the OR in case a crash csection is required.
I think it depends on the doctor and definitely the position of the babies as well as what the "rules" are. In my town at our hospital you have to have c section for twin delivery since 2000. You will need to ask your doctor. Sorry.
