Don't worry I'm 14 wks and am actually -2lbs from when I first got pregnant. The Dr said its very normal to not be gaining weight yet. I'm overweight as well. My OB said to aim around 15-20 lbs for total gain. You'll be fine , just as long as that little nugget is healthy!

Don't worry I didn't gain weight right away and I'm overweight.  Im 38 weeks today and I barely started to pile on the pounds in the last couple of weeks. I've gained so far 24 lbs even though my 1st ob told me to aim at 11-17 lbs, my current ob is not worried since my pregnancy has been normal. This is second baby and i watched what i ate because with my first pregnancy I gained 50+ punds because i took it to heart that I was eating for 2, but that second person one does not need a whole adult meal lol

I'm overweight 19 weeks pregnant and have lost 5 kilos since the beginning you shouldn't really gain weight when overweight but try to maintain what's healthy for you and bub atleast that's what my midwife told me

I feel a lot better because I thought it was just me it has me worried at time how the baby is on target if I didn't gain a pound or two.  Everything I reads says I should have gain at least 3 pounds.

You don't really need to be gaining weight so early on, especially if you are already overweight. I am 17 weeks and I've only gained 3 lbs. Up until last week I had only gained 1.

Its normal that you are not gaining weight. You shouldnt be yet anyway. You can start gaining weight as late as 20 weeks, if you are overweight it can be even later. Its important that you dont eat for two even if you werent overweight. Gaining too much weight can cause you problems at delivery. You should have a healty diet and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Good luck

I am 17 weeks and go through the same. My doctor told me it is okay as long as the baby is okay.  Tbh as long as my baby is doing well idc to gain weight!
