My docs list says one benadryl a day is safe.. also you can take sudafed, zyrtec or claratin also. If you get a lot of mucus you are allowed to take the plain mucinex. I've personally used mucinex and zyrtec. Also, only regular tylenol is safe. I hope you feel better!
My OB gave me a list of OTC medications you can take safely while pregnant and you can take Tylenol cold
Rub vaporub on ure back, temples & chest and if you can take it then rub a little on the bridge of your nose. Vaporub really helps. It definitely helped me. Also you can try drinking luke warm water with an entire lemon squeezed in it. No sugar or salt. Its natural and helps a lot. .
Do the netty and fill up a cup of lemon juice and honey and heat it up so its warm.
My doctor said Robitussin is okay too
U can take any Tylenol cough syrup and sudafed pe while pregnant
Essential Oils!! Work better than any decongestant, and NO chemicals. I use Young Living oils and rub Thieves and RC on my chestand on my LO's chest and feet! No sickness in our house!
unfortunately theres not much you can do while pregnant. you can take benedryl for the stuffy nose and itchy throat. thats about it though. nasal issues are common with pregnancy anyway so unfortunately youll be dealing with that allot. benedryl and Tylenol only. good luck mama
