I been really sick my first couple of mouths and my doctor had offered me the zofran medicine which I been taking  for a while..I read up on the medicine and I saw so many bad comment about it causing birth defects to the baby my doctor or no one didn't tell me about this..what should I do?

I took Zofran throughout my 2nd pregnancy because the little stinker wouldn't let me eat at all. He's a happy healthy very smart little boy. I took it on occasion with my 3rd child (only if I was really sick that day...) he's fine too...

Drs get paid to prescribe certain medications. Do your research so you can make an informed decision for yourself.

I just seen a commercial saying zofran is bad during pregnacy and they have a law suit against them i use mezline for vomitting

Ive been taking zofran on and off my entire pregnancy. Currently 33 wks With a very healthy baby. There are birth defects that can be cause but they are very few and far btwn. Doctors always outweigh the risks before giving you anything

My Dr prescribed zofran because I was sick ALL day. I asked her so many questions and she said that she would never prescribe something that could hurt our baby. I have complete Faith in my dr as she has been my Dr with all 4 pregnancies.

Ive been prescibed zofran bc i cant even keep water down right now, ive also seen the commercials and have read posts about it and i guess it can cause birth defects but its rare, but at the same time not keeping anything down can put u in the hospital

Id stop taking it unless youre unable to keep anything down. I would prob mention the comercials to the dr too and see what he says.

My ob gave me this too but i was too scared to take it. The past couple days theyve had lawsuit commercials on about you can get a settlement if your baby was born with birth defects if taking zofran while preg. I yelled for my hubby to come see it too.

Ok I saw your comment but I have a home nurse and she told me anything I take while being pregnant the baby is at risk and I just don't understand how and why would they prescribe.us this medicine if its gonna harm our baby she also said the best way to take care of the baby is drinking fluids and eat nutrition
