Occasionally used Percocet while pregnant. Help!

I am not asking these questions to be judged and put down cause I already know what I did was stupid. I am 24 weeks pregnant and I have used Percocet here and there. I have only done it about five times. I am not addicted and do not have any withdrawals but I was wondering if my baby will be okay and if when I give birth the opiate will show up in his fetus or be in his system. I am stopping as of now and don't ever plan on being stupid again. I just don't want my first born to be taken away. And I also don't want to make my family think I am a druggie cause I am not.

No one here is going to judge you. Can I ask if you were prescribed this medication from your Dr?
Drs do not like to prescribe any medications to pregnant women if they can avoid it.
My nephews girlfriend took Percocet while she was pregnant because she had to have extensive dental work done. She did not know she was pregnant yet though. It didn't harm the baby and it did not show up in her system when the baby was born.
Since you're pregnant you have to be completely honest with yourself. Can you really stop taking these pills without any help? If you've taken them for awhile you could go through withdrawal. I'm not judging you, truly I'm not. If you feel like you need help to stop taking them then you need to get that help. If you've really only taken a few during your pregnancy you and the baby should be alright. You can't take them any more though because you don't know how they will effect your baby and if you do keep taking them your baby will go through withdrawal when it's born.
I'm always here to listen and help anyway I can. You can even send me a private message if you feel more comfortable talking that way.
