5wks pregnant and doc found 2 more sacs

Have been having a rough few weeks here. I went in to the doc on 5-27 for an ultrasound- I should have been around 6 weeks preg.- they didn't see anything. Did the blood work for HCG- levels were 800 then again 48 hrs later they were 3,300. Good- I am pregnant! Went in again a few days later thinking they would see something- they didn't. Did levels again this time it was over 11,000. Doc wanted to go ahead and do another ultrasound. This time she found 1 sac with a heartbeat and then 2 more sacs but didn't see anything inside. With the ultrasound it says I am only 5 weeks 3 days- I don't understand any of this. QUESTION: Could the other 2 sacs become something more- could I end up with more than 1 baby? And does anyone have a clue what could have been going on here.

thanks sooo much!

I go back in 2 weeks for an u/s. After reading some of the other questions it sounds like I will only have 1 baby. That is just fine with me. I guess I am just a little nervous. I have 3 beautiful girls and wasn't planning on another pregnancy just yet. Thank you for your comment!

well i guess if there where 3 sacs that means 3 eggs where fertilized wich would mean triplets, but if they saw only one heartbeat maybe only one baby actually developed (like a blinded ovum or what they call a vanishing twin or something, i really dont know) or the other babys will develope a bit later.  (im just guessing)

i guess you wont know till your next U/S.
