Anyone Having twins

Just found out yesterday I'm having twins. I'm feeling excited but also scared. Have no idea what to expect with carrying twins or the birth process? Some shared experiences could help with what to expect. I've Googled a lot of information but just not the same as real women telling me rather then information from a doctor who's never experienced it for themselfs.

Congratulations on your twins! They are truly a blessing! I had boy/girl fraternal twins just under 2 years ago and have a 4 month old baby boy. I am also a doula and student midwife and have some experience with multiples. A twin pregnancy can be about the same as a regular pregnancy or it can be harder and more complicated, each one is unique. You can also still have a vaginal birth though many care providers require that Baby A be in a head down position. You may end up having to have a cesarean but you should, if possible, wait to perform the cesarean until you naturally go into labor to give the babies the best start because they are ready to come out and get the assistance of labor hormones for things like breathing and such. There is plenty more I can tell you and I am happy to share! Eat lots of protein!!!! Feel free to contact me directly by phone call or text (541)337-9478 or email ***@****

I haven't had them yet but I'm so excited! Mines are di/di as well. I've only heard about the birthing process thru a father but I'd really like insight from a mother lol

Welcome to the club!!! Do you know what kind they are? Mine are di/di, different sacs and different placentas, two little boys :D it won't take long before your excitement greatly outweighs your fears/nerves
