I'm 8 weeks pregnant nd I'm trying to gain the least amount of weight but still keep a healthy diet that is good for me and the baby... my question is what should I be eating nd drinking? What kind of excersizes can I do?
Normally pregnancy leads to weight gain of about 10 to 15 kgs. Eating healthy and adequate exercise is recommended. Try to include lots of proteins and fibre in your diet. Fruits and vegetables rich in iron, vitamins and calcium are needed. Avoid spicy and oily foods and avoid alcohol and smoking. Drink plenty of water and fruit juices. Un-accustomed exercise should not be done. Prenatal vitamins should be taken. Consult your Doctor.
