I'm a man and I have my chest X-rayed two weeks ago, will this affect the baby?

hi everyone, my wife and I had a unprotected sex some days ago and then my wife got pregnant.

However I remember that just two weeks before that sex night, I joined the annual medical test of the company and had my chest X-rayed. I'm worried that the x-ray would affect my sperm and cause some problems on the baby to come.

Is my worry necessary? Thanks.

HI,
X-ray chest done on the father at a time, before the actual conception will not have any effect on the baby. Hence you can expect a good outcome. All you need to do is a regular follow up of your wife with serial ultrasound scans and taking the proper prenatal medications.
The answer is based on information provided. Exact advice is not possible without a proper examination and investigations. You are requested to consult your Doctor. Take care and keep us posted.
