Had our US last week Friday and both boys are measuring at 4 pounds each. Fluid levels are great, doplers and cervix are going great also. Also had my NST on Tuesday and it was great also. Doing NSTs weekly now and see my OB weekly also. Boys are both transverse and have been having Braxton Hicks on and off for the last 6-8 weeks but nothing consistent. How are you doing Ana?
Have read and talked to my MFM about TTTS and she was telling me that we could still get TTTS. After 30 weeks the chances drop by half. So, there is still a 20% chance. But a lot lower than the 40-60% chance during 14-28 weeks. Most MFMs also consider TAPS as part of TTTS and TAPS usually develops after 30 weeks. Congrats on your boys also! Hoping to make it 5 more weeks to reduce NICU time. And also 8 more for you is just great.
That's great! I'm also having mo/di twin boys and I'm about 3 weeks behind you. How did your risk for TTTS drop by half? And how was the most recent ultrasound?
I didn't think that twins ran in our family but it turns out that it runs in my family and my husbands. :)
Cool. We was shocked when we found out that we was expecting twins. There are no twins in the family. How about you?
Thanks for the kind words. I love being a mom and am really excited for you!
We are having Identical twin boys mo/di. Your girls are adorable and like you said, they sure do ham it up for pictures.
Ariellesmithe, what type of twins are your girls? We are
You are doing great! Be sure to relax and try to get plenty of rest!
Planning on the rest. Just got home from the doctors and am measuring @ 44 weeks if it was just one. BP is still down and the boys HB's are great. Go in again in 2 weeks for US, NST, and a check up.
I am really happy for you. Be sure to get some rest and post pictures when your bundles of joy arrives! :)
I can't imagine carrying more than one. Hey good luck.
