Thanks ladies! I will definitely be calling on you guys for advice! Right now I am just anxious to get to 12 weeks and to make sure that there are still 2 little babies in there and that they are measuring right on time. I am hoping they find a membrane between them and that the TTTS is not a factor (along with vanishing twin syndrome).... soooo nervous right now.
Just like lil_lady25, I haven't had my twins yet (i'm 26 weeks). My pregnancy has been pretty normal. I was one of the lucky ones who wasn't sick during the 1st trimester (I had nausea, but I never had morning sickness). I did however experience 2 very scary bleeding episodes at 10 and 12 weeks, but thankfully everything checked out great & haven't had problems since. One thing I'm learning the further along I get is to try and relax as much as possible! I had to learn to let a lot of random stuff go (i.e. house stuff) because I just can't do anything like I used to. And like everyone has said, rest up as much as possible! I'm sure none of us will be getting any sleep!
Lots of patients it what you will need and when they come keep them on the same schedule or you will go crazy....lol I know they say never wake a sleeping baby but that doesn't go for twins when one wakes up in the middle of the night wake the other and feed and change them both when you change one diaper change two....doing this will make life so much easier. But for now make sure and get lots of rest and drink lots of water.....and just enjoy my boy girl twins are 2 and very active......but if you ever need any advice I'm more than happy to share what I've learned so far...
I haven't had my twins yet as I am only 26 weeks along but I keep hearing to put them on the same schedule. As for pregnancy mine hasent been any different than with a single pregnancy. I had morning sickness till week 10 which is pretty normal. I got scared around week 11 because I was having some severe cramping but come to find out it was only ligament stretching. My back hurts a ton but I think that's pretty common for any kind of pregnancy. I would make a list of questions for your doctor. That's what we did so that I didnt forget anything important. Oh and get lots of rest, enjoy it now because once the kids are here I bet there will be no sleeping for either of us!
