Pregnancy and period pain

Ive done a home pregnancy test which was positive (over the moon about that). I'm about 5weeks along and suffering pain just like I usually do in the 24-48 hours prior to getting my period. I am feeling cramps, lower back pain and abdo pain. It is the same type of pain and uncomfortableness I had when I miscarried at 6 weeks ( a number of months ago). Is what I'm feeling normal??? Every time I go to the loo, I fear I will see blood again.

Pain during pregnancy can be a cause of concern. This can be because of threatened miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. You should immediately consult your gynaecologist for an examination. An ultrasound scan will help make the diagnosis. Hope this helps.
