Twins!

My husband and I decided to try for one last baby and found out last Saturday that we had succeeded! Thursday I had an ultrasound done and the tech discovered TWINS! I about fell off the table. I don't think dh would have believed me had he not been there to see if for himself. There were two perfectly formed gestational sacs the first measuring 5w2d and the second 5w5d. This is new to me. I have 3 beautiful children, my dd will be 7 in March, ds is 3 and our son will be 2 in Feb. Now we're adding twins to the mix! How did everyone feel when they found out they were expecting multiples? Did you already have other children?

I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with G/G twins. When we first found out I was nervous and scared. We have gone through multiple miscarriages and I felt that if I couldnt hold one pregnancy than how could I hold twins. But thank God everything has gone so smooth so far and we are now going to meet our girls in a few weeks. This is our first children and we couldnt feel more grateful and blessed. Congrats on your twins!!

Congratulations! How exciting for your family :) I'm 32 weeks pregnant with twins (boy & girl). my husband & i were trying to have children for almost 16 months, then went through IVF and succeeded the first try.

The day we went in for our first ultrasound, my husband was so nervous because we knew going into fertility that it was a possibility we could have twins. As soon as the doctor started the u/s, the first words out of his mouth were "oh there's two!" and we both were like "what?!" But once the shock sunk in, we were super excited! We don't have any other children (except for our fur babies, haha!) & for us to struggle for awhile to have kids, we feel so lucky to be having two!

Good luck through out the pregnancy! It's definitely a journey!

OH MY GOODNESS!!  Congratulations!!  That is wonderful news.  I didn't have multiples, but I did have three children close together.  They are now 22, 21 and 20.  Warning, they all grow up together and leave together.  Talk about empty nest syndrome....Anyway, keep me posted.
