38 weeks tomorrow and still nothing except a little scare when false labor came due to some walking I did. I may go for a long walk this weekend again LOL!

I'm on my 36th week now and feeling miserable. Now I understand why women are ready to deliver early even thought it sounds so selfish. It's a torture to walk, to lay or sit. My braxton hicks come and go but are not painful. I just got a toothache yesterday and didn't sleep all night. I am 4 lbs away from hitting 200 and it scares me! One baby is head down so they encourage normal birth and no C-section was scheduled. I CANNOT imagine lasting up to 38 weeks. I truly admire those who can! Happy and healthy babies wishes for everyone!

I had my c-section at 36 and 4 days and all went well.  No nicu for either.  My girl was 5 pounds and my boy was almost 7 pounds.  I gained 50 pounds and it all fell of 3 weeks are they were delievered.

My water never broke (although I was on so much meds to try and stop labor, I think I would've remembered my water breaking!).

I will be induced tomorrow, day I turn 38 weeks. My doctor checked my cervix for the first time last Monday. She did not want to touch me much since there were no concerns. I have Braxton Hicks all the time, sometime painful, but they go away. I can't wait to meet the twins tomorrow (boy/girl) Last ultrasound they were 6.4 and 6.5 so they should be great and fully developed! Hang in there everyone, the later the better for them.

I am hanging in there.  I hit 32 weeks on thursday which makes me happy since I hear that is the "MAGIC #"   They also stop checking the cervix at this time.  The Dr tells me Braxton hicks is totally normal & unless they really start to increase then not to worry about it.

@ Kricket: Thank you :) It's scary to think about your babies being born early, but with multiples, there's always that chance. Try not to stress too much! I hope you can carry your boys as far along as you can!

@ Expecting: My doctor never checked my cervix either and I had been going to the doctor once a week for about a month.  I even went to the doctor the DAY before I ended up delivering my babies. Told my doctor I was having what I thought was braxton-hicks (I was highly uncomfy, nauseous, etc). Well, when I ended up going to the hospital the next morning, I was already 100% thinned out & 4cm dilated. To this day, I still don't know why my doctor never checked me. The only thing I can chock it up to is because I had zero complications or issues during my entire pregnancy.  If he did check me, I'm sure I would've been sent straight to the hospital.

I am 34 weeks 3 days now and am wondering if it's weird that my Dr. not even once had checked my cervix :-/ They seem not to be concerned with checking that because I don't have any worrysome symptoms. I am getting more and more of braxton hicks contractions which worries me sometimes but they also say that's normal. I have my sono tomorrow and am hoping for good news that they finally positioned heads down. I guess I hope I'll last at least two more weeks until I'm 36 wks along. Good luck to all of you ladies!

Well for me alot can change.  My cervix is quickly thinnning out & right now it's 1.7 & am 31 weeks.  I am so worried about going early but glad to hear that everything worked out for you Brandi.  I pray I am equally as blessed with my boys if I do go in fully into labor.

I am currently at 30 weeks.........I believe I am holding strong but one never knows.
My OB sono tech told me I am measureing in the 85% percentile.  Baby A was measure
3lbs 5 oz & Baby B 2lbs 11 oz.
I am told we will do C section last week of Oct.........we will see how it goes.

Hello! I am also at week 24, +2 days. I am so scared that the twins may come early. I keep watching youtube videos and success stories to calm myself down :-) I also have increased discharge, sometimes I run to bathroom to make sure that it's not blood or my waters. It's so nerve wracking! I guess it's one of the symptoms at this time of pregnancy. My twins started moving around about 2-3 weeks ago. Before then it was very sporadic and I was very worried. I guess not much space in there. I hope to go on till at least 37 weeks. I want healthy babies that don't have to stay in the hospital. I'm sure though, the more time passes by the heavier I will feel and I'll be anxious to pop them out LOL!

Hi, am also expecting twins, i had menstrual cramps at week 21 and stayed in the hospital for 2weeks. Now am bact to work and having little discharge just wondering if anyone else is having such. Am 24weeks today, babies are kicking seriously......

I was 32 weeks & 4 days when I had my twins. Ashton (our son) was 4lbs 5oz & Carly (out daughter) was 4lbs 11oz. Our son stayed in the hospital for 17 days & our daughter was there for 22 days. Thankfully the main reason they were in the hospital was to learn how to feed since at the time of birth, their sucking reflex wasn't developed yet. Today, they're healthy (and highly entertaining) 6 month olds :)

i had twin girls on 10-9-09 one was 3lbs 2oz and the other was 1lbs 15oz the big one was in there just over 5weeks and the lil one was in there just over 6weeks and they said she wood not make it but here it is they r 10mos and doin good a lil slow but good =)    good luck to u

36 weeks...Mine spent no time in the NICU.  I had the steroid shots for lung development at 28 weeks due to pre-term labor.  I was on strict bed rest until 36 weeks....My Dr. decided to go ahead and take them because my blood pressure was creeping up and he did not want us to get into trouble with that.

i would like to have them on the earler end but only if thay were compleatly ready no NICU time im just so worried ive never had a c section and i hope not to now.the doc told me thay wont let me go passed 38 weeks god i can not even imagine going 7 more weeks ugh lol

35 weeks 5.5 and 4.5 both boys hospital less than 48 hours no nicu

36weeks 2 days  B/G   about 50 hrs in hospital (2 nights)  both great

This is a great question, scorpiogirl! :) I was about to post the same question. My due date is April 1, but I'm told to expect to have our twins in mid-March. Well, I just realized I'd be 36 weeks March 4 & thought maybe I could even have them in February?! It's good to get an idea when others' twins were born :) Congrats to you! You're so close :)

my girls arrived at 1 day short of 38wks, I was off work at 20wks and then bed rest from 26wks. They weighed 5.4 and 5.1, came home with me after being in hospital for 3 nights. no issues with them.

i was 34 weeks when i popped. i went from 125-130 lbs to almost 240 (i'm still working off the last little bit i'm back to 135-140) my guys were very healthy for being 6 weeks early. brett weighed 5 lbs 3 oz and eli weighed 5 lbs 13 oz. they stayed in the nicu for 1 night and spent the rest of the time in the regular nursery under bili lights. they were in the hospital for 5 days (only 2 days longer than me.)
