Last time I posted I got a positive pregnancy test, or so I thought.!
I took another pregnancy test Tuesday morning & it was negative. :(
I'm trying to convince myself I got a negative because it was a cheap test & that it was a false negative.
But then I also realized the first pregnancy test I took (the one that was positive)  was a blue dye test. & that it could've been evaporation lines. but researched it & all I've seen about evaporation lines are they appear after ten minutes & are usually grey. But my "positive" in about a minute & was a VERY faint blue line.
I'm confused as hell.!! I want to schedule an appointment & find out, but I'm kinda embarrassed because I don't wanna feel like I've been fooled by a bad pregnancy test (if its negative).  I haven't told my husband yet, & I'm glad I haven't only because I don't want to confuse or disappoint him, (he REALLY wants to be a father).
I've still been having "pregnancy symptoms" & I don't think its PMS, I've NEVER had PMS for 2 weeks for that gives me a little bit of hope.!!
Any advice.....???????

When I took the first test the line was so faint, I thought I was seeing things & it appeared pretty quickly (in less than a minute) ,which didn't make since if it was an evaporation line, I'm also keeping in mind the faint line could've been from an unknown pregnancy....very tough situation to think about but you get where I'm going with this.  
but I'm definitely testing again next week.

With my last pregnancy , I tested after I missed my period and took the first response one and it came back a very dark pink line and he wasn't planned . I was surprised I was even pregnant with him cause I was in the middle of switching birth control . And this baby , I took the first response ones again (cause I think there better) and it came back a very faint pink line . It was kinda hard to see . I took 2 with this one and 8 with my last pregnancy . Even if it is faint , you still could be pregnant . Just to early for the line to be dark . Try another test in a week and get blood work done .

I know how u feel about being fooled. I had the same thinking. So i didnt go into the doctors until my symptoms become undeniable. Sore boobs was enough to make me go to the doctor to get it confirmed. Coz i took 2 pregnancy test at a health clinic and they were negitive. And i took a cheap test at home after a week and it was a faint positive. I didnt belive it. And i ddnt want to go to doc for same reason as u. Coz its so embarrasing.

I got all my pregnancy test for 1.10$ n they were all accurate
First peregnancy I took 2
This time I took 3 n well I'm prego foe sure lol

I don't know if the hospital where I live does them for free, ( if they do it'll be really helpful). Or if they don't do them for free, I can see how much my insurance covers it. Congrats to you.

At the hospital where Im at they will test you for free. Maybe youre does too. I would wait maybe a week and just go. It might save you some money and be way more accurate. I was 7 wks when I tested positive.

I hope you're right.!! :) The symptoms I've been feeling I've never felt before. & feeling like I'm gonna get my period for two weeks...definitely not normal. Keeping my fingers crossed, but I don't wanna get my hopes up.

Go to the doctor and get a blood test. If u got a positive faint or not your probably pregnant. Sometimes in early pregnancy hcg levels go up and down resulting in mixed results. Best wishes and good luck.

If I am pregnant , it is very early. & as far as cheap vs. expensive pregnancy test, I thought the same thing. & that was my plan to wait until next week to re-test. I've also considered getting blood test just to stop all of the guess work. but like I said, I don't want to feel like I got fooled by a bad test.!

I took a line test and it gave me a negative but I still had pregnancy symptoms so I had my husband buy me a clear blue digital test and sure enough it said pregnant and I have a now 2 year old son to prove it :)

Did you take the test with your first morning pee? If not then your pee could have been deluded and caused the negative. But I would suggest getting the blood test to know for sure

If you're newly pregnant (like VERY early) the cheap test might not be strong enough to pick up on the hcg in your system. Like said above, it's very hard to get a false positive on a pregnancy test.

That happened to me too so no worries! I took 4 pregnancy tests and got 2 positives and 2 negatives. After doing tons and tons of research I've came to the conclusion that a $1 pregnancy test is just as good as a $100 pregnancy test. Get some blood work done and I bet you're pregnant (:

It's common to get a false negative, it's never common to get a false positive. It's almost impossible to get a false positive

No period yet??? If not go get blood drawn!!
