i think iam pregnet while on the shot

well ladies i really dont kno whats going on. with me it really seems like iam pregnet,,, ive been on the shot sense april 12.. and know it  june.. and me i my husband havind sex like crazy.. know for the last couple of weeks ive been cranky and very sleepy always hurgery and what to eat every thing... ive been seein my period for a 2 weeks and kno its leaving.. i dont kno what to think about my body he even said i might be.. is it possible i  can get pregnet on the shot.....

It's very possible! I conceived my youngest son on the depo shot. However, the shot can cause your body to act in weird ways. I know when I first got the depo shot, I was tired all the time, crabby but honestly with me thats nothing new lol, and it can cause you to gain weight. I knew a woman who gained 50 pounds in 3 months on depo....she ate all the time.

I never really had any side effects, I actually lost weight on depo, went from a size 5 to a size 3 in a year. I was on the shot for about 3 years. I did however have a mini stroke on depo, but I was and still am a heavy smoker, so it was bound to happen.

If the problems progress I would suggest maybe trying a different method of birth control. Good luck!!

Yes the depo can do weird things to your body, i was on the depo for a couple years and eventually had no period at all and never got pregnant on it. On the other hand, it is possible to get preg on the shot, my mother got pregnant with my twin brothers on the depo so it is possible because it does happen but it is very rare

It is possible but only 1% of women it happens too. I have never been on the shot before but from what I understand the shot can cause spotting/weird bleeding and hormonal changes. I would say take a home test and if it comes up negative then make an appointment with your doctor just to double check. Good luck!
