12 week scan! :) UPDATE!

Turns out I'm further along than we thought! I'm 13 weeks 3 days as of my u/s yesterday :) we have lots of pictures & it was so special having my mom, grandma & bdaddy there in the room. Baby bear is healthy & veeeeery active! My little one loves to wiggle lol!! Heart rate is 152 bpm, & measuring normal. Just curious though, there is a section on the report that states "additional markers for risk assessment" & nasal bone present is written as a response. Anyone know what this is??

I know a missing nasal bone is a sign for Downs syndrome...so if its present that's good!

I just did the search myself, and really it is okay hun. I was told at my 12wk scan that my baby had CPC. And they said it was a marker for you know what. They wanted to do the ammo fluid draw, but I said no. I had to go back every few weeks and get an ultrasound. The more research I did, the more I saw that it was common on ultrasounds and goes away. My last ultrasound was on Monday, and I was cleared by that Dr. saying it had disappeared. Look more into it. And I wish you the best

Don't worry your self too much. Earlier in pregnancy theirs alot of "false markers" that go away later on. They will talk to you about it at your next appt

That's always fun to be further along then you thought. Was their anything written under the markers? You might be able to google any codes they put on there
