22 weeks with anterior placenta

Hey ladies ! I was just wondering how long it took for any other mommy with an anterior placenta (placenta is in the front of the baby) to feel Baby kick from the outside. I feel my baby lightly on the inside, but I can tell that her kicks are being muffled by the placenta. Do I have anything to be worried about when it comes to counting my babies kicks, or delivery??

Ok that's good to know.  When they told me I was worried lol then they explained it all to me, just the way it implanted itself when I became pregnant. Thanks guys

I had an anterior placenta. I was like wtf is that when i found out at 16 weeks. Anyway after that appointment i always looks for kicks or movement and didnt feel a thing, at my 20 week checkup i still hadnt felt anything and my doxtor said its normal and that i should feel it around 22 weeks. So i waited and still didnt feel anything! But at 24 weeks in the morning i felt the first kicks and was so excited. It just takes a while depending on the babies size. By 30 weeks, i could lay and watch my belly move in all different directions and the baby going crazy, it just depends on weight. No worries mommas!

I can see him kicking my tummy! My daughter watches all the time! It's so fun to see her watch. She was too little to understand when we had our first son. She is so excited this time, even though it's another boy!

This is my 3rd baby and I have an anterior placenta. I started feeling my baby move around 14 weeks and then both my husband and I felt a strong kick at 19 wks 4 days. I'm watching him roll and jab around right now. I feel him high, like under my boobs or really low. I feel him on the sides if I'm lying on my side. But it's weird to not feel him in the front.

I have the same thing. I'm 21wks. For the longest I could feel nothing.  Now I feel little muffled movements on the inside,  but nothing on the outside yet. My doc says there is nothing to worry about unless my placenta moves over my cervix *placenta previa* but that is not as likely to happen. I say give it a little more time when baby gets bigger, We'll start feeling baby. Are you showing?  Or is your tummy big for 22wks. This is baby #3 for me & I just started showing maybe 2wks ago.  I don't look like I'm half way.
