22weeks admitted to the hospital

Hi mommies and mommies to be, as of Saturday I was 22weeks and admitted to the hospital for a reoccurring kidney issue.

( about 2.5 years ago I almost died from ecoli in my left kidney and was in the hospital for 12 days with Iv anti biotics and 3 months out of work and on meds by mouth)

I came in 3 weeks ago for kidney pain and was found to have a bacterial infection, was given bactrum in a very high dose for 3 days...then Friday night I started having unexplainable back pain throughout te middle of my back...so bad I was able to sleep and could bairly walk. Saturday I called my doctors office and luckily my OB was the on call doctor and was given instructions to go to maternity triage. They weren't sure what was wrong and thought I was just possibly having muscle spasms...but they admitted me for more testing. They had tested my urine and noticed another infection in my kidneys as well as a UTI. Then Monday my doctor comes in extreamly upset because they had yet to check my kidney function or even directly look at them with a renal ultrasound. When they finally did they found a couple stones in both kidney "none obstructing" but I'm still in horrible pain and severely uncomfortable. Has anyone ever had this happen and what did they do/ what was the outcome in the end. I'm very scared and slightly angry because the doctors don't tell me anything but they need to keep me because what I'm going therough can cause pre term labor...I don't want my daughter to be born this early. This is my first and probably going to be my only with how my kidneys are reacting to pregnancy. Any advice would be more then appreciated.

I just had stones in my right side very painful I'm 22 weeks and 3 days. I stated a natural  remedy with frankincense and lemon in a capsule with olive oil. 2 times a day started drinking organic apple juice and water and lemon juice I've been pain free for 5 days!! Look up natural remedies on line and go for it!!! There was nothing the doctors could do for me! Had to just let the stones pass!! Good luck!!! Hope you feel better. I know your pain!!

Hi! I'm very sorry to hear about what you and baby are going through, but being at the hospital is best for you and baby.I had a kidney infection at 26weeks And was admitted on iv antibiotics for 7 days and untreated it couldv caused pre term labour.I thank
God baby and I are fine. You will get occasional pain because you have stones and remember there is water retention in pregnancy so your kidney(s) will swell or become inflamed. And this might result in pain.also with all the stretching of the uterus, many organs give problems but TRUST me all these issues will disappear after labour.Try to stay calm and its OK to go to the ER with even the slightest worry/issue, doctors are there to help u.Keep hydrated, keep kidney muscles warm & try to rest as much as you can.All the best momma!!!

At 32 weeks i was having contractions and went to the hospital.  They stopped them with a shot.
They also found small kidney stones but none were in the way so they just left them alone.  I delivered at 38+3. I still get kidney pain but I'm just guessing the stones are trying to pass or get bigger.
Good luck momma!
