When I was pregnant with my twins I went in for a routine appointment at about 37 weeks. They said my blood pressure was high and they wanted me to wait around a little bit to see if it changed. When it didn't they sent me to the hospital to be checked. When I got there the first thing they asked me was if I was ready for my csection. I had no clue that it was happening that day but I think they might have. My appointment was at 11 am and they didn't send me to the hospital until about 5pm. They wouldn't let me leave to eat or anything so I think they knew but no one said anything to me.

They should induce you that same day. My first pregnancy i ended up getting high blood pressure and i was told that i needed to get induced that same day.

Not sure if everyone is the same... but my cousin have had high bp her whole pregnancy, wasn't due until the 1st week in January but just got induced & delivered today. She was scheduled for it today but knew either yesterday or the day before.
