3d ultrasound

How far along should you be to get a 3d ultrasound done.. ???

I'm 22 weeks.. is that too early?

I tried to get some of my babies last week and the place I went said the best time is 25-26 weeks that way they have pleanty of fat to look cuter....

For the best pictures, they say between 26-32 weeks. I had one done with my daughter at 31 weeks and we didn't see very much, so for this pregnancy, we've scheduled one for 28 weeks.

they did a 3d/4d at 19wks for me to reaffirm that it's a girl.  it was a short, quick one.  i am going back for the one that comes with the complete package next month.  at that time i will be between 29-30 weeks.  they told me that at 29 weeks it's best because the baby has more fat and is still pretty active.  they said as weeks go by, baby gets bigger and doesnt have as much room to move around which means that they pictures/video may not be as good.

I just got mine done on mothers day at 29 weeks. it came out really good and we could see his face very clear.

I got one done at my mid point u/s at my doctors office. I was 18.5 weeks I think, and my little guy looked really skinny....I would say to wait untill at least 25 weeks so baby can put on a little fat:)

lusie- here in AZ there is a place called peekofyou.......they have the website peekofyou.com....not sure if there is one by you.....anywayz, I believe they start doing it at 24 weeks.   I went there after my big ultrasound just to make sure 100% that I was having a girl...im crazy like that, lol.......that was only a normal ultrasound though, but the place was really nice....check it out!

The place where I am planning on getting it done has a website. It's called prenatalpeek.com. There is a link to find the best time to do it. You simply click on the date you are due and it will highlight the best days to do it. I am 21.3 weeks, I think the best time it says to do it is starting at 27 weeks, which for me will be the 1st week of july. I'm guessing it's around the same for you.
