3rd boob

Ok ladies. This is a weird topic. Ever since I was little I noticed my left arm pit had a little bit more fat then the other. My mom told me that is a 3rd noon because she has one the same. So I lived life still normally. Now that I'm pregnant I've noticed it getting a little bit bigger. .. and even milk (clear liquid)comes out of it now.  I know weird right!  Does any body out there have the same issue?

I don't haven't got an extra boob or nipple but my breast tissues and milk ducts run all the way up into my armpit and when engorged I'm swollen from nipple to pit. Also my 2yr old step son has a 3rd nipple and my almost 4 hr old son got jealous of it the first time he saw it he wanted 3 to

I have the same thing as well! I started noticing a bump under my left arm in the beginning of my pregnancy and thought it was a cyst. I started worrying though when I started to see a brown spot develop and thought it must be an ingrown hair but I had my doctor check it out and he told me I grew a third nipple lol when I told my bf all he did was laugh cause I worried so much about it haha.

Well i do not have a thirs boob, but a third nipple!! Lol i got it with my first pregnancy a brown spot on my right side ribcage below my boob. Then it became a bump i thought it was like an ingrowm pimple or simething like that, but never asked i forgot about it. Then with this secind pregnancy it became a bump again, and a PA i worked with told me it was a third nipple. Since were mammals, amd were pregnant our body sometime developes it, to breastfeed. Not knowing we have boobs allready lol.

In my experience once my milk came in my boob became swollen/engorged with milk. I tired a hot rag, hot showers, pretty much anything I could think of to get it to go down and release some pressure. Nothing worked so after 2 months I had to stop breastfeeding so I could dry up to be out of pain. Without removing the tissue im not sure if you will be able to breastfeed without something close to those complications but I wish you the best in breastfeeding or possibly finding a surgeon :)

Just from surgery and lifting my arm etc to do with that arm for about a week. It left a pretty big scar under my arm. Pretty much they cut the tissue out put in stitches and covered it with steri-strips.

It is extremely common I had one just got it removed from under my right arm. With my first when u was pregnant it filled with milk and became engorged to the point where I had to stop breastfeeding. I talked to my doctor this pregnancy asap and explained I wanted to go full term breastfeeding with my son but with the extra tissue it was impossible. Sure enough a week later I was in surgery and it is gone! :)

@honey 72 at that time the drs didn't tell her anything to do expect let it dry up and bottle feed, but I mentioned her problem at a class I'm attending and the lady said it's more common than most people think. So there's probably something you can do to still breastfeed. My armpits get a little swollen too now that I'm pregnant, they told me mine was hormones going odd ways and now I've gotten it straighten out
