Alcohol in early pregnancy. Miscarriage???

Hi everyone. When I would have been about 2 weeks pregnant I had a drinking episode. At the time I didn't know I was pregnant and I am definately not drinking anymore. I was just wondering if drinking that early in the pregnancy can affect my baby. Could it cause miscarriage???

I drank on weekend pretty heavy I smoked pot every day and I even did shroomz a couple of times... In no way am I proud of that I am actually asshamed but I have a perfectly healthy 6 and a half year old boy.... So I wouldn't worry about it.... Just don't drink any more

It's not likely that one episode of alcohol consumption will affect the pregnancy.  The only exception I could see would be if you drank so much you got alcohol poisoning.  I wouldn't worry!  Now drinking throughout the pregnancy can cause birth defects and fetal alcohol syndrome, but one episode in early pregnancy isnt likely to make any difference.

I was about 6-8 weeks pregnant, and knowingly had 1 more "drinking binge". I drank until my cheeks and lips went numb.

I am now almost 21 weeks pregnant with a beautiful baby girl!

I really don't think miscarriages are caused by drinking, However I don't condone it.
I believe long term drinking, or heavy drinking throughout the pregnancy is what does the most harm to babies. Even the doc told me a beer a month won't hurt things, I still don't do it, but it's nice to know, in case we have a special occasion of some sort.

Nope. I'm pretty sure a lot of people have drinking episodes in early pregnancy before they find out they are pregnant and end up ok. Most miscarriages in early pregnancy are from chromosomal problems.
