I mostly made my own baby food with my first.  I plan to do the same with my new baby if time permits.  I did have some store bought for those days when you are out and about. I froze the food in icecube trays and then put them in freezer bags.  The portions were perfect.

My sis in law only gives her baby homemade food, vegetables & fruits. Her daughter loves it, it's soo healthy. She never gave her jar food. I plan to do the same, only homemade food. It's cheaper compared to jar food. There is huge difference. It's wayy healthier & you will be introducing healthy eating habits at young age.

Home made is more healthy because it's less processed.  And honestly after looking at just the difference in color from jar and home made made a big difference too me. But it is easy and cheaper.

I hope to make my own baby food. I don't know what our situation. Will be like when the time comes, but I love the idea, the health benefits, and knowing everything that my baby is eating.
