Being a pregnant cashier

So I'm 22 weeks and work as a cashier at lowes, they let us walk around near our registers more than most places and I try to move as much as possible but my feet and back are always hurting to the point it's almost unbearable! I either work 6 or 8 hour shifts. How do you ladies who have to be on your feet all day cope with it

OMG I also work at Lowes!!  I have the same problem ,my feet hurt so bad. Often I'll feel contractions and it'll start making my back hurt. I think it's unfair that someone who's shoulder is dislocated can sit in a chair at their register but I cannot..  simply stupid.  I'm 28 weeks btw

I am 34w+3 and i work 12 hour shift at a warehouse with two 30 min breaks. the first couple of weeks i came home barely able to move once i layed down. After trial and error i found that dr scholls compression socks along with gel insoles help my feet i soak them in epsom salt when i get home. A good pair of shoes is well worth the investment. I also have streched the stomach part of one of my compression tank tops and i dont get ome bit of back pain.! Maybe some of these will help you too everyones different though.! Good luck.

There are cushion like rugs they sell for people who are on their feet and stationary most of the time.
It looks like a welcome mat for your front door but is super cushioned with what feels like memory foam.
Get one girl it will save your life.
Also get shoes that are supportive and cushioned. Dr sholls insoles can help alot also

I work at Lowes too! I'd say get that stool and sit. See if they have little projects you can do while sitting down to give you a break from standing.

I work in retail and work at least 8+ hours a day. I had my dr write me a note saying I had to sit as needed due to complications with my pregnancy. I'm actually having a very easy pregnancy but told my dr of the pain I was in every night so he made it sound like it was necessary for me to have a chair near by

I was a waitress working 12 hour shifts until i was 20 weeks and never able to sit always running around god it killed my feet but i got these very confortable dr scroll inserts it relieved so much pain. But honestly nothing will help if your on your feet for so long but once you get off put your feet in a warm bucket of water and it will sooth the soreness :)

Believe it or not but spending extra cash on good quality shoes helps. Coming home abd giving yourself a foot massage helps ralax them at the end of the day and back massages!

I work as a cashier and work 5 1/2 hour shifts. My feet hurt so bad I almost cry. My back usually hurts at night because of standing all day. I don't think I'll last long at this job because of it

I get two 15 minute breaks during a 6 hour shift and two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch during an 8 hour shift, I put in a request for a stool so I'm hoping they give me one
