Thank u all so much! Sorry it took me awhile to respond..I really appreciate if though!!
I am a first time mom and got my double electric medela pump free through my insurance. Most insurance covers most if not all of it
But i woild definitely go for an electric, for convenience and ease of use.
Mandela is supposed to be 'the best' you will find, but i think in all honesty that it is different for everyone. Some wome swear by one machine and others will hate that same one. Trial and error! Best of luck, i hope you find the best one for you
I'm also a second time mom but a first time breast feeding mom (pending birth) and I just bought the Mandela pump in style advanced today. I hope it works well!! Less than 6 weeks to go!
Call Your Insurance Provider... You May Be Able To Get A Free One. Mine Is A Medela Double Electric, And 100% Covered. I Never Would Have Known If Not For Someone Telling Me To Check On it. Good Luck!
when I was in the hospital after giving birth I used an electric madela pump and it really hurt. I told myself to tough it out so i asked the lactation consultant if I was going to be able to get one through WIC to take home but she said that would take about a month. she then gave me the manual madela symphony and it works wonders!! it doesn't hurt and doesn't take long at all to get milk. its so easy to use. I recommend the manual ones
I use ameda it's good electric but I figured do the manual pump better gets the milk out faster and lots of milk!
I prefer electric pumps. I highly recommend Madela.
