Brown Bleeding has quit but still not sure what it was and waiting on my next period.

I started my period on novemeber 25th it lasted just as it normally does through the 28th although in october i started on the 25th which was on sunday through wednesday instead of it being wednesday through sunday; well anyways it was decemeber 7th and i started to have some brown blood on my panties after my boyfriend and I had gotten home from the movies.  It is still going but has gotten way lighter and its day 3 of this brown/dark red almost black looking blood could this be implantation bleeding or what else could it be?
**I did take a preg. test but it showed negative i'm waiting until my next period and testing again.

well in october i started on sunday the 25th and than my last period was on wednesday the 25th of november and than on the 7th of December it started with the five day long bleeding/spotting of brown/black to pinkish, I am on Birth Control but I can't lie I had accidently been screwing around and not taking it like I should have been...I know irresponsible but everyone has their mishaps in life.  I've never had bleeding like this before and now my next period is due either on this sunday: December 20th or Wednesday December 23rd.

Wait and see if your period is late. By the sounds of it...it's possible that your bleeding could have been from Ovulation.. Is your cycle usually 28 days? If so than that was CD13 and usually women ovulate around that time on a 28 day cycle.
