CLEAR STRINGY JELLY DISCHARGE???

I have irregular periods its been this way for about 2 years now maybe a little longer iv been having unprotected sex with my long term boyfriend for over 3 years still no luck with a pregnancy! I did start buying ovulation kits and tests until I realised its a waste of money as I don't think I was ovulating as it never shown up on tests even digital ones. But today I noticed a very thick clear jelly stringy discharge every time I wipe after the toilet its been doing it all day?? I had my last period on the 5th may which lasted until the 11th may and today (9th june) I noticed all the discharge I did sum searching online and some sites say it could be a sighn of ovulationing which if so I would be happy about so much but abit gutted at the same time as my boyfriend is away working so I'll be missing the oppurtunity to concieve as he is not here all though we did have intercourse not last night the night before (7th june\8th june) may hav been early hours next morning goin onto 8th june. What does this sound like to you guys do you think there's any chance of a pregnancy? What is this discharge? And if so ovulation could I still get pregnant even tho I had intercourse 48hours ago?? Please help :(

I was having problems getting pregnant for 3 years. Had a molar pregnancy and an ectopic. I read up on ovulation and it said that the clear jelly was a good sign. As soon as I noticed it we went to the bedroom... About a 6 weeks later had a positive test. Now 30 weeks preggers with a precious boy! Our dr. said sperm can live inside the body for 4 to 6 days after you have intercourse. GOOD LUCK

well im not sure if its from ovulating....everyone is kinda different whrn it comes to that, but i do know that sperm can live up to like 4-5 days in youre body...so if it is ovulation, theres a chance one of the sperm could hook to your egg, just be paitient cause youll have to wait a few weeks to test, good luck...and if theres a chance you and bf can have intercourse again..i would lol. good luck!
