Can feeling my uterus at 10 weeks be a sign of twins???

. Twins?? Ok, so Im only 10 weeks and I have been reading that the uterus its still behind the pelvic bone at 10 weeks and that you really can not feel anything. BUT I really feel a hard bump if I press my lower belly in between my hips. One of the forums I read, mentioned the possibility of twins. Can feeling this bump this early, mean that I might be having twins??? It runs a lot in both sides of the family...

lol i swore i would cry if i was having twins... until the morning sickness hit!  then i switched my tune.... 2 pregnancies at once! bonus!! lol but i only had 1 and im onto my second pregnancy and the morning sickness was still there but not quite as bad...well it was different anyway lol
Its hard to say for sure even by size... just over a week to find out for sure! where are the twins in your family? do you mean both sides on your side(like mom and dad) or both sides like you hubbys and your side? just cause if its from your hubbys side then it wouldnt affect your chances....

Thanks for the replies. I guess we found out very early and since the appointments are every 4 weeks, our second appt was at 8 weeks, so they did not do the thing to hear the heart beat...  It is scheduled for june 8 which is our week 12. I am getting nervous, since our families keep saying they "sense" the twins... Anyways, i know that if it is true I will have my freak out moment, but we can handle it. Better in our first pregnancy thant in a second or third!!! Will keep you guys posted!!!

I'm surprised you don't know yet!! I found out I was having twins at six weeks! I'm 11 weeks now, I know with me I already have a baby bump! However I am plus sized which my dr said would mean I'll show faster. Good luck Hun and I hope you get what you want :) I couldn't be more thrilled for my two to get here!!

Thank you!! I think the initial shock of twins would be hard, but after it wore off, twins would be amazing! I'm glad I'm not having them though, haha! With my first I had really high HCG levels and my doctor mentioned the possibility of twins and I about passed out! One is good for me! :)

I'm 6w4d with one baby, and I can already feel it obviously, especially when I touch it, lay on my stomach, bend over, anything, so I doubt it. But I was thinking this same thing yesterday before my U/S! But nope, just one baby! And I know each baby you usually start showing sooner, this is my 2nd
