Cervical Polyp during Pregnacy

by mar137, Feb 07, 2008 12:49PM
Hi There

I am a 27 years old I was diagnosed with a cervical polyp back in September 2007 by my OBYN . She did a polypotomy but was not able to remove it. I still have the polyp inside of me and was able to get pregnant. I am aboubt 2weeks pregnant and have been spotting so I decided to go the ER they ran some test on me. They had a ultra sound done on me and could not see the pregnancy but they found a small cyst which could be the corpus luteom

Hello,

The cervical polyp will not be an issue in pregnancy.   Also, you are too early to see anything on ultrasound.

Best,

Dr. Downing
