Confused, does the start of third trimester mark official start of month 7?

okay... this is going to be kind of long...
Since there are 3 trimesters, and 9 months, that means that each trimester is basically, exactly 3 months, correct? So I'm apparently beginning my third trimester on this coming Sunday, according to a pregnancy calendar.. I know that I'm close to 6 months, but the "What to Expect..." book says that month 6 is from weeks 28-[whichever i don't remember when it ends] So they are insisting it starts at the beginning of your 28th week... But on the pregnancy calendar on whenmybaby.com it says that I will be starting trimester 3 at 27 weeks (next Sunday).  I was just confused as to this Sunday or NEXT sunday marks the my 6 months, and beginning of month #7... Any ideas?

So simply put, does 3rd trimester ALSO indicate the end of month 6? (leaving months 7, 8, and 9.. making it 3 months long, as well?) Am I right?

I'm going to use the one on whenmybaby.com , because i'd rather be able to say i'm in my third trimester and 7th month, sooner rather than later.. Hahah.

Oh, well I just realized why the dates seem to vary, according to your dates, the trimesters are spaced as 13 weeks, 14 weeks, then 13 weeks.. Well, 40 doesn't divide evenly into 3.. So now I see why people use different dates... thanks.

first trimester is 1-13 weeks
second trimester is 14-27 weeks
third trimester is 28-40 weeks

That is how the calculated in my doctors office. I'm sure that some people may calculate it differently but that's what I went by.
