Cramping in early pregnancy

Hello my girl friend just got pregnant and were about 5 weeks I'd say well she's experiencing a lot of cramping (no blood) I was just wanting to see if this is normal. Also she only has half a cervix so I was wanting to see what are chance of  this being a miscarry. And what precautions should we take to make sure we don't miscarry in the future.

She can go full term with out any procedures it just depends on her pregnancy and her. I'm sure her doc will monitor her closely and keep her and the baby safe. I know it's scary but just relax and help her stay off her feet the most you can until Friday just to be safe.

We have one Friday and she has the next two days off so she's at home resting now.  All I can do is pray I mean I want this so bad but I can't control it. What kinda procedure can they do to make sure we can go full term?

Cramping is normal. She should stay off her feet the most she can until she sees a doctor though. I wouldn't want to risk a miscarriage. Schedule an appointment with an ob asap and let them know her condition since she may be considered high risk due to her cervix.

It is normal. I also get cramps. I asked my midwife and she said as long as theres no bleeding its ok. The cramping is due to your uterus expanding.

Lol we have an appointment Friday with the same ob/gyn she's had since she was young. I think the cramping is mild but there is no bleeding which is good. Lol you have no idea first time dad. She has a five yr old that I treat like he's mine but this would mean the world to me.

Has she had part of her cervix removed?  If so,  depending,  she might have to take certain precautions such as a cerclage,  pelvic rest,  etc.  I don't know her history so it's hard to say,  but she should make an appt with the ob/gyn who knows her history.

Also,  If she hasn't already started,  she should start taking prenatal vitamins with folic acid and dha.

Congrats on the baby =) you sound like a concerned father already lol
