DH really feeling symptoms

For the life of me I can't think of what it is called when your other half experiences your pregnancy symptoms.  I have really giggled all night b/c of DH and being so tired.  He is just being so lazy just trying not to fall asleep.  He even said he had to force himself to cut the grass and came in and took a nap afterwards.  He HATES napping during the day.  He really hasn't complained about anything else...but in my previous 3 pregnancies he has not experienced any of this but it's so funny to watch now.  I know this is a random post...but does anyone else have their other half experiencing any symptoms?

My DH doesn't necessarily have sympathy symptoms, but it seems that everytime I get pregnant he has a pretty significant injury.  We both agree that it happens that way for a reason...he gets the injury so I don't have major complications.

With one pregnancy he ended up having knee surgery a month before she was born.  He's wearing a huge leg brace in all her newborn pictures...he then had shoulder surgery when she was 3 months old.

With the next one his hand got caught in a table saw and all but cut off his pointer finger so he had to have surgery to have it reattached and then another one to fuse it.

With my last pregnancy his back gave out and he was laid up for a few days

The same thing this time, his back went out a couple weeks ago and he was laid up for a few days.

With this pregnancy tho he HAS gained weight.  He's 6'1" and normally around 160 but he's now around 190.  Which to ME makes him look very healthy, but he jokes around that he has fat rolls now (yeah right, *I* can show him some fat rolls LOL) and that his clothes are all tight :)

He's always been the type to fall asleep as soon as he stops moving and he eats like a horse so that's not new.

With my first pregnancy, my husband would throw up with me in the beginning.  It was great since we have to do everything else and they only really have to participate in the "fun" part!

Sympathy Pains? I think is what it's called. My DF had sympathy morning sickness in the early stages of my pregnancy. It was too cute. If I felt sick, he was generally okay...but on the days where I didn't feel sick, he felt like crap lol. He always said if he could take it from me he could....and he did lol more than once.

He has also put on a few pounds, nothing to damage his physique. He is 6'0 tall and normally around 150, but I think he is about 165 now, maybe closer to 170. But I don't think it's from cravings....I make him have a midnight snack with me, so I don't feel like such a pig lol.

He too is also more tired than usual. He has worked 3rd shifts for a long time, and could deal with 4-5 hours of sleep a day, but on my sleepy/lazy days, he is just as bad lol. But no matter how tired he is, he still lets me sleep in and he takes care of the boys in the morning. He says a pregnant woman needs all the rest she can get, to help nurture our baby girl, it's so cute lol.
