Desitin the original not creamy
Thanks ladies for the info. I will be trying more than one recommendation. I just feel so horrible as baby doesn't really cry when he soils himself and has a diaper rash. It's not to bad right now but dont want it to get worse.
Honestly I had no luck with any kind of cream on my kids. The only thing that seemed to help was cornstarch. No joke it keeps the moisture away from their skin and you can see a difference in the rash in just one diaper change, it's old fashioned but it works.
Utter cream or some call it bag balm. I swear by it. It's got more than just the diaper rash use, it's good for chopping too so chapped nose when you're sick or cheeks from cold winter air...many other things! Go to a local pharmacy and ask for it, it comes in a little green square tin and that can literally last you the entire rest of babies life lol my mom still has the same tin from when I was a baby!
desitin is the best in my opinion. I even still use it to this day, like when I go walking at Disneyland or something and my thighs get that horrible rash from rubbing together, I put that on, go to sleep, next morning I'm good as new.
They say not to use baby powder, but it's the one thing I've found that helps when my little ones butt is red. I only use it when his butt is red though and use the kind with cornstarch.
I used that but when mine had diaper rash really bad i would use boudrex (spelling) butt paste in comes in a yellow tube with red letters you can buy it at walmart in the baby section
