I use pampers for like a month or two cuz i like thier newborn ones, then switch to luvs. Iv tried huggies but i didnt like them with either of my first 2 children, they either broke out or stunk really bad.

When she was first born. I used huggies they even have ones that have a cut out for the umbilical cord they are great! After she sturd ied up I just get the parents choice it's very inexpensive many come a package. Your going to go through so many diapers you'll be grateful to save a buck. If your baby is not sensitive I would use them for sure

I tried them all... only pampers swaddlers work for my son. Every baby is different though. It's a trial and error thing. I wish I could use the cheap ones! Pampers are pricey...

Oh I will say that I forgot to add, here recently, my 14m old was using huggies because WM was out of Pampers and he developed a rash all around his man junk. Once we got pampers back, the rash went away. I guess my children just don't do well with anything other than Pampers. Even their cousins that are all close in age had problems with anything but Pampers. Maybe it's a family thing? Who knows.

What I do know is you'll want something to last more than an hour or two if you are out having to run errands or waiting at the doctors office. Not everyone can stop to change a diaper every 30m to 1hr. Just do some research on the diapers and read reviews. There's several brands to choose from. I'm sure you'll find a good fit.

Personally the name brands never really absorbed much. And the kids just peed through them. I prefer the family dollar brand. They're $10 for a package and they're great.

My daughter is 20mo and I only use luvs with her. I've tried Huggies and Pampers and even generic but they couldn't hold anything except for luvs I swear by them :)

After hearing about the whole chemical burns from huggies and pampers, I got my son the target brand. They're super soft and don't feel cheap at all. I've felt other brands and they're really papery. It's all up to what you prefer. :)

Huggies. No doubt. Sure you change your kids all day long BUT that's what your suppose to do & You wouldn't want to be in a diaper that leaked pee or poop all down your legs would you?  That's what the cheap ones do.. Look, its pretty much like you get what you pay for. I want the best for my kids and don't mind spending the extra money.  Their comfort is well worth it to me.

I've tried huggies and luvs...

Luvs broke my two boys out really bad.. and Huggies never holds like it says it does. At least for my two boys. They are 2 and 14m. Newborn would possibly do well in them. But, as for my kids they aren't worth it.

I've also tried pampers baby dry. They don't last at all! And if the baby/toddler is playing in the floor, the diaper starts shredding on the outside. Little pieces of diaper everywhere. Mainly on carpet.

What we have liked and used and will always continue for more children (pregnant with #3) is Pampers Sensitive diapers and Pampers cruisers. The cruisers last a long time. I loved the pampers sensitive when they were so little because babies have such sensitive skin.

You could also look into cloth diapering.
