Different Blood Type Can cause abmormality?

I was planning to get married and have a child with ma future husband. But i have an issue on the difference of blood type between the father and mother of the child could cause some complications. My partner is a B+ while i'm a O type. So is there a risk for our future baby to develop any abnormal conditions? I ever heard about if a partner has AB+ Blood type and the other one has B- could cause risk to the child in the womb. Is it true? i Need advice..

Brittney & kelliestarr is right, it depends on + or -. I'm neg. & my husband is pos. & I have to have medications at my 28th week. So if both of you is neg. it's ok or both of you is pos. it's ok.

Yeah I believe what Brittney11 said is right I'm not 100% sure though. Because I am A+ and my boyfriend is O+ there isn't any problem. But my brother is A+ and his girlfriend is O- and she had to medication because of this.

LoL! i could understand that. And i remember the studies about the Rh (rhesus) system about the Rh + has the factor on the red blood cell surface while the Rh - doesnt have it.. Hmm.. But still, i'm just being careful to plan it out. Wouldnt want the child to suffer.. =)

The different is the positive or negative blood types. The dif. being if you have a positive blood type and the baby has a negative, your body might try to fight the baby because it thinks it is an infection. There is a medication they can give you to make sure your body doesn't fight the baby. I hope that was what you wanted. I may be wrong but I got that from an ER dr. Good Luck.
