Early Pregnancy Symptoms

Now that I know that I'm officially pregnant (and it's finally starting to sink in a bit) I'm starting to obsess about pregnancy symptoms.  I've been trying to have a baby for so long, and because of that, I'm more nervous than ever about miscarrying.  I mean, it took me almost 2 years to get pregnant.  If I lose this one, it could take two more years, and I'm only getting older.

I'd love to hear some of your earliest symptoms.  I'm supposedly around 5 weeks, and I don't have sore BB's at all.  (except a little sensitivity in the nipple area)  I have period like cramps but duller.  Sometimes during the day they are worse than others.  I'd love to know if that's normal cause I'd swear my period is about to start.  I have very slight nausea, but no where near needing to throw up.  And that's about it.  I guess I'm a bit concerned by my lack of symptoms.

What did you women experience at about 5 weeks into your pregnancy? I just want to know that I'm normal.

Thank you so much ladies!  Gosh - I've missed this community, but I wasn't TTC or pregnant, so I didn't have much to add.

I'm just very aware of easy come. . . easy go.  As long as I don't see blood, I'll feel hopeful! :-D

And. . . I decided against a second HCG because I think it would make me worry more than anything.  I'm just going to go into my ultrasound appointment next week and pray for good results! :-D

I haven't really had a whole lot of symptoms this whole pregnancy. I had dull AF like cramps until about 8 weeks, and my bbs hurt A LOT, but I was on progesterone and estrogen supplements, so they hurt before I actually got pregnant lol.  After awhile I started getting some bloating, which now has turned into a slight actual baby belly, but other than that I don't really feel pregnant. No morning sickness, no cravings, my bbs don't hurt anymore. Just getting a belly. I wouldnt' worry, but I know I obsessed for several weeks about the chance of miscarriage because I didn't want to have to go through more fertility treatments. Good luck with everything!!!!

Cramps and bloating for me. Never really had sore breasts until later and even then it came and went. Symptoms or lack thereof aren't indicative of impending M/C so don't waste energy reading into them!

At 5 weeks I only had mild breast pain and AF like cramps. My stronger symptoms did not really kick in until a few weeks later.

HEY and just remember that a lot of women dont experience the "normal" symptoms! You could get lucky and not get morning sickness! Good luck ***SSBD***

I had no symptoms at 5 weeks. I was scared I was going to M/C again. Then around 7 weeks I started cramping, alot of vaginal discharge, morning sicknes, and varicose veins. Don't worry yourself to much. I am now 9 weeks and 5 days pregnant

I think you are completely NORMAL!  I'm at 4 weeks 4 days and I too have cramping every now and then.  My breasts on the other hand are VERY sensative and getting a bit fuller.  I'm have mild nausea but only in the evenings.  Remember though it is normal to not have a lot of symptoms early on and they are different for everyone.  Best of luck to you!
