Ectopic Pregnancy

I am 4weeks5days and I have been having bad cramps on the left side for about three days. I've had lower back pains and cramps all over my belly as well. Will the emergency room check for an ectopic pregnancy or do I just have to go to a ob-gyn?

Also with being that early i think i was about the same time you are right now but i had these horrible cramps like it felt like i was being stabbed in the back as well as my sides. I was hardly comfortable. I took some tylenol and put some icy hot on my back...helps a TON! but you are still early so it could actually just be the baby implanting its self into your uterus walls.  But if your like bleeding on top of cramps i would definitely go in. But like i said as well call your hospital they may have an advice nurse you can speak with.

Do you have a doctor yet? You can always call the hospital mine has an advice nurse you can speak with, sometimes they can help you over the phone or they may suggest you come in and be seen. At the hospital i go too, i went in the other day for cramping but they sent me up to the OB floor to be checked out rather than the emergency room since it was 9 at night.
