by Ysz, Oct 19, 2009 12:06PM
Hi, I am very confused coz the result of my Ptest turns out weird. Like the vertical line is very faint. Do you think it is positive? This my first time to use Ptest. Do i need to try it again tomorrow? Pls help me understand what it is? been reading some post here and they're saying that it is positive. My husband and I are really hoping its positive. :-) thanks and God bless

Hi!
Yes, I think its the real thing!  If you wait a few days and re-test the line may be darker.
Also, be sure to use the first morning urine--the hormone will be most concentrated in that sample.
Good luck!

Hi
Im in the exact same position as you. I took 3 pregnancy tests using a predictor test 2 days before I was due on and all 3 came up with faint lines. I decided to use a clear blue digital 1 day before I was due on and the day i was due on. Both of those came back negative and im now 2 days late.
The best thing I can suggest is wait until you are late for your period and test again for a more accurate result, or if you are already late for you period, make and appointment with your Doctor, explain the situation and ask for some blood tests, this will tell you for sure if you are pregnant.
Keep us posted. Good luck

It doesn't matter how faint it is, if there is a line there then it's positive. There may have not been enough hcg in your urine when you tested or you're probably not late for your period yet. Just make sure it has color to it and it came up within the time limit. Good luck but I'd say you're pregnant. Congrats!
