Fish Oil

After talking to this lady about being pregnant, she advised me to take fish oil and that it had great benefits for the baby and I. It helps the development of the babies brain. Has anyone else heard that too?

My bf is freaking out at me for not taking the fish oil, when I was taking it I used to burp up fish taste all the time and ended up puking which was even stronger fish taste. My doc said omega is important, and I don't like eating fish..any other suggestions?

My obgyn said no to omega. Eating fish once a week is recommended. Many studies have shown omegas  do not help in any way

It's the omega 3 in it that are good for you, the recommended  dose is already in your prenatals so don't take anything extra without consulting your dr first.

There is some kind of fish oil in prenatals, so you are already getting some.
