Foods that preggers eat

Ok, I have been eating so bad this pregnancy, it's unreal.  I was so good with my first but this time I just kind of let it go.....I have been eating sour gummies almost everyday.  I just ate half a bag of Sour Lifesaver gummies....I can't stop myself.  I have been baking dessert about once every 2 weeks.  I don't eat much of it just wanted a taste but I just feel like I have to indulge myself since this maybe my last pregnancy.
I have gained 26 lbs and I am only 30 weeks.  I did start out at 108.  At my last appt, I gained 10 lbs in 8 weeks.  I don;t think I will do the same again but the weight gain is freaking me out.  Ionly gained 30 at my last.

Im 30 weeks 2 days and have gained 25lbs, im not too worried as its mostly bump.

I eat junk food if i feel i need it. Lately my appetite comes and goes and ive been worried about not eating enough, last week i lost 2lbs (put it back on now though)

My midwife says that unless you are obese to begin with you shouldnt worry about your weight and should just try to avoid the cream cakes from 28 weeks onwards

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm 32 weeks and I'm due to go to the doctor this week to get my weight checked again. At 28 weeks my doctor scolded me for gaining 10 pounds in 4 weeks and at 30 weeks I was back in (going every 2 weeks now) and I gained 5. I was up to a gain of 34 pounds 2 weeks ago. He asked me if I changed anything and I actually had from 28 to 30 weeks I cut out all cookies, fatty foods and reduced my carbs. I was eating fruit and no fat yogurt only to cure the sweet tooth...and I still gained 5 pounds. Every body type is different. I personally gained 50 pounds with my son and it didn't come off immediately. It took about a year and half (without exercising, just watching what I ate). My doctor stated he worries about excessive weight gain because the baby gets fat and has problems with delivery. He says problems with shoulder dislocations are a big concern, but we can't starve when we're pregnant. Just try to make healthy choices. My first doctor told me that what I put in today will have to be worked off later. Enjoy your pregnancy and worry about it then. As long as you two are healthy that is all that matters.

I do eat well on regular meals.  My mom fixes authentic Chinese and it's full of veggies and stuff.  It's just the snacking....oh well....like I  said this maybe the last time.  I was just worry because my doc said if I gain 10 lbs in 4 weeks again, my ob is going to have a talk with me...
SNACK PORTION is not small, hehe.  I had 4 more strawberries after the candies.  Now I am good.

I did the same thing, maybe worse. I was fine.. I only gained 25 lb though.. I felt bad but I was self-indulgent at times too.

Enjoy the sweets and things you crave, just make sure you're keeping portions small and that you're eating as many fruits, veggies, and whole grains that you can tolerate along with those sweets. You're doing fine - 26 pounds is not a bad number and you shouldn't feel bad about it. Relax and enjoy the final stretch!! :)

Don't beat yourself up.  26 lbs is a good weight gain...you should be gaining one pound per week now and that will give you a total weight gain of approx 36 lbs.  It may even be less cause some people don't gain after a certain point....
I am 35 weeks and have gained 30 lbs.
I certainly do not deprive myself of anything.  I try to eat properly.  Veggies and all that good stuff, but I also love my potatoes, chips, sweets!
Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

LOL!

At 30 weeks I had gained 30 Ibs.  I'm now 39 weeks and have gained about 37 Ibs total! Before I got pregnant I would eat a VERY healthy diet, strength trained 4h/week and ran 30 miles/week and ALL of that went out the window once I hit the 8 week mark.  The doctor has told me the weight gain is not a problem and the way I look at it "what goes on must go off", right?  The time it takes to get rid of the pregnancy weight will be influenced by how hard I work and I plan to work hard!
