Gastational sac size

At 4 weeks I started having pain in my side. At 61/2 weeks I went to dr who sent me to EPAU. EPAU saw me at 7 weeks. Transvaginal ultrasound showed 2cm by 2cm ovarian cyst, probably bleeding. Also showed gestational sac in uterus (good news as was worry of ectopic). But gestational sac measured only 11mm, and no sign of baby.

Called me back in 10 days for another u/s. (that's thursday coming).

Awaiting thursday's horror, and today I get a letter saying I'm rhesus negative and all that goes with that.

I'm feeling pretty damned jinxed! I'd lvoe to know if there's ANY chance at all that the pregnancy will continue. The hosp. wouldn't tell me anything. The consultant was having trouble with the machine because she'd never used it before. So I might as well not have been there.

Any help?

I know you would like a def answer, i have truly been in your shoes its torture waiting, but there is no real way of knowing to be honest. I have had quite a bit of experience at this game and honestly at 7weeks you generally can see sac which should roughly be about 18mm (varies) embryo and heartbeat but believe me i have heard of many many stories where these things have not shown up for up to 8 weeks pregnancy so hang in there and always have results checked twice because sometimes docs tell you you have miscarraiged or preg not growing and they've been wrong especially as you have the cyst....:-)
